Article 1: General provisions

The e-commerce website of Ayumu World, a sole proprietorship with registered office at Ommegangstraat 114/8870 Izegem / West Flanders / Belgium, VAT BE0750.917.778, offers its customers the opportunity to purchase the products from its webshop online.

These General Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply to any order placed by a visitor to this e-commerce website ("Customer"). When placing an order through the Ayumu World web shop, the Customer must explicitly accept these Conditions, thereby agreeing to the applicability of these Conditions, to the exclusion of all other conditions. Additional conditions of the Customer are excluded, except when they have been accepted in advance, in writing and expressly by Ayumu World.


Article 2: Price
All stated prices are expressed in EURO (excluding VAT) and all other mandatory duties or taxes to be borne by the Customer. The customer is responsible for any additional costs associated with the payment transaction.

If delivery, reservation or administrative costs are charged, this will be stated separately. 
The indication of price only refers to the articles as described verbatim.


Article 3: Goods offered

As for the correctness and completeness of the information provided, Ayumu World is only bound by an obligation of means. Ayumu World is under no circumstances liable in the event of manifest material errors, typesetting or printing errors.

Ayumu World products are made by hand. This means that no product is the same. In addition, there may be small irregularities due to traditional manufacture.

If the Customer has specific questions about, for example, sizes, color, availability, delivery time or delivery method, we request the Customer to contact our customer service in advance.

The offer is valid while stocks last and can be adjusted or withdrawn by Ayumu World at any time. Ayumu World cannot be held liable for the unavailability of a product. If an offer has a limited period of validity or is made subject to conditions, this will be explicitly stated in the offer.


Article 4: Online purchases

The ordering procedure at Ayumu World is as follows: the Customer places the items in his / her shopping cart, then the Customer clicks through to the 'checkout' where an overview of the shopping cart is displayed. The Customer must then check and check out his order. The confirmation is done via the specified e-mail address of the customer. Then the customer chooses the shipping option and payment option. Finally, the Customer accepts the General Terms and Conditions (this document) and the sales contract is concluded on our website.

We generally accept the following payment methods: credit cards, bancontact, Ideal, Sofort and Maestro. We reserve the right not to accept certain payment methods for a specific order and to refer to other payment methods. Please note that we only accept payments from accounts within the European Union (EU).

Ayumu World is entitled to refuse an order due to a serious shortcoming of the Customer with regard to orders in which the Customer is involved.


Article 5: Delivery and execution of the agreement

Items ordered through Ayumu World are delivered in Belgium, the Netherlands, France, Luxembourg and Germany. The delivery is made by GLS, DPD, BPost or another parcel service and the customer must pay additional costs for this as stated in article 4 of the general terms and conditions.

Unless otherwise agreed or explicitly stated otherwise, the goods will be delivered to the Customer's residence within 30 days of receipt of the order.

Any visible damage and / or qualitative shortcoming of an article or other shortcoming in delivery must be done by the Customer immediately and as soon as possible.

The risk of loss or damage is transferred to the Customer as soon as he (or a third party designated by him, who is not the carrier) has physically taken possession of the goods. However, the risk is already transferred to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier, if the carrier has been instructed by the Customer to transport the goods and this choice was not offered by Ayumu World.


Article 6: Retention of title

The delivered items remain the exclusive property of Ayumu World until full payment by the Customer. The Client undertakes to inform third parties of Ayumu World's retention of title if necessary. If the buyer is a consumer, the buyer's consent must be apparent from the document itself. The retention of title therefore only applies if the consumer has expressly signed his consent to the clause.


Article 7: Right of withdrawal

The provisions of this article only apply to Customers who, in their capacity as consumers, purchase articles online from Ayumu World.

  • The Customer has the right to withdraw from the agreement within 14 calendar days without giving reasons.
  • The article must be undamaged, use beyond what is necessary to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods, or not be worn.
  • The withdrawal period expires 14 calendar days after the day on which the Customer or a third party designated by the Customer, who is not the carrier, has physically taken possession of the good.

Ayumu World undertakes to refund the payment received within 14 days of the day on which it was informed of the customer's decision to withdraw from the contract.


To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must; Ayumu World (Ommegangstraat 114/8870 Izegem / West Flanders / Belgium, contact@ayumuworld.be ) via an unambiguous statement ( by e-mail registration for return) of its decision to withdraw from the contract. Important considerations regarding returns

  • De direct costs of returning the goods will be borne by the Customer.

Ayumu World can for this reason, refuse the return shipment and the refund.

  • Returned items must not have been used, except to determine the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods

When an article has undergone a decrease in value due to unauthorized use of the Customer, Ayumu World can refuse the return shipment and the refund.


If the Customer cancels the agreement, Ayumu World will pay all payments received from the Customer up to that time (purchase amount), refund to the Customer within a maximum of 14 calendar days after Ayumu World has been informed of the Customer's decision to withdraw from the agreement

  • In the case of sales agreements, Ayumu World can wait with the refund until it has received all goods back, or until the Customer has demonstrated that he has returned the goods, whichever is the earliest.
  • Ayumu World reimburses the Customer with the same payment method that the Customer used for the original transaction, unless the Customer has explicitly agreed otherwise; in any case, the Customer will not be charged for such reimbursement.


There is no right of withdrawal for the delivery of goods manufactured according to the consumer's specifications, or which are clearly intended for a specific person;

  • the delivery of goods that spoil quickly or with a limited shelf life;
  • the delivery of goods that by nature are irrevocably mixed with other products after delivery;
  • service contracts after full performance of the service


Article 8: Warranty

Under the law of 21 September 2004 on consumer protection in the sale of consumer goods, the consumer has legal rights. This legal guarantee applies from the date of delivery to the first owner. Any commercial guarantee does not affect these rights.

To make a claim under the warranty, must the Customer a be able to present proof of purchase. Become customers recommended to keep the original packaging of the goods.

Article 10: Penalties for non-payment

If the customer is a consumer, the law provides a number of important requirements for such a 'damage clause' to be valid. One of these requirements is that the clause must be reciprocal. This means that an equivalent sanction should also be provided in the terms and conditions or the contract in favor of the consumer in case you fail to fulfill some of your obligations. Therefore, if compensation is foreseen in the event of late payment by the consumer, a comparable sanction must be stipulated in favor of the consumer in the event that your company does not deliver the goods or services or does not deliver them on time.

Without prejudice to the exercise of other rights that Ayumu World has, in case of non-payment or late payment from the date of the breach of contract, the Customer is legally and without notice of default an interest of 10% per year is due on the unpaid amount.

In addition, the Customer is legally obliged to pay a fixed compensation of 10% on the amount concerned, with a minimum of 25 euros per invoice.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, Ayumu World reserves the right to take back items that have not been paid (in full).



Article 10.2 : Ownership of Ayumu on texts and images

All photos, images and video clips used on our website and social media are owned by Ayumu World. Without any agreement between Ayumu World and a third party, it is not allowed to use the image material for purposes that are propagated to the outside world.


Article 12: Infringement of validity - non-renunciation

If any provision of these Terms is declared invalid, illegal or void, this will in no way affect the validity, legality and applicability of the other provisions.

Failure at any time by Ayumu World to enforce any of the rights listed in these Terms, or to exercise any right thereof, will never be considered a waiver of such provision and will never affect the validity of these rights. .


Article 13:         Change of conditions

These Conditions are supplemented by other conditions that are explicitly referred to, and the general sales conditions of Ayumu World. In the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions will prevail.

Article 14: Evidence

The Customer accepts that electronic communications and backups as Electronic Communications constitute a “beginning of evidence”.

Article 10.2 : Applicable law - Disputes

Belgian law is applicable, with the exception of the provisions of private international law regarding applicable law. The courts of the Consumer's place of residence have jurisdiction in legal disputes.
